Pak’s efforts for Kashmir settlement appreciated
Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the leaders of All Parties Hurriyet Conference have reaffirmed Kashmiris’ resolve to frustrate Indian designs aimed at intimidating them to submission.
The leaders including the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt and Shabbir Ahmad Shah were addressing a seminar in Srinagar today, which was organised to pay glowing tributes to prominent Kashmiri martyred leaders, Mirwaiz Moulvi Mohammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone.
The speakers said that the Indian government was continuously engaged in resorting to different ploys to suppress Kashmiris’ liberation struggle but the people of Kashmir were determined to take their struggle to its logical end, despite all odds.
Appreciating Pakistan’s efforts to resolve the Kashmir dispute, the APHC Chairman emphasized that all the three parties to the dispute, Pakistan, India and Kashmiris should sit together to reach at a negotiated settlement. He appealed all Kashmiri liberation leaders and organisations to join hands to realise the mission of Kashmiri martyrs.
Meanwhile, a speedy army vehicle deliberately crushed to death a 70-year-old civilian in Ramban town, triggering a forceful anti-India demonstration in the area. Dead bodies of two civilians were recovered one each from Trigam Nallah in Banihal and Iran De Khetra in Rajouri.
