Residents of Srinagar face troops’ brutalities

Srinagar, June 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the residents of different areas of Srinagar have said that personnel of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) went berserk, ransacked the houses and damaged the properties. 

The residents of the different areas of Srinagar said, “The CRPF and police men barged in our houses and damaged everything,” adding that they ransacked household items and beat up the inmates including elderly persons and subjected women to molestation. “The windowpanes of scores of houses were damaged by the para-military personnel. Besides, the windscreen of several vehicles parked in the area were broken by the CRPF personnel”, said the residents.

The different localities of Srinagar including Rainawari, Nowhatta, Bohri Kadal, Nawa-Kadal, Safa-Kadal, Fateh Kadal, Soura, Nowshera, Bemina, Haba-Kadal, Sonawar, Chanapora and Rambagh witnessed massive protest demonstration on Saturday against the transfer of Kashmiris’ land to non-Kashmiris.
