Glowing tributes paid to martyrs of Gaw Kadal
Srinagar, January 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, several people were injured when Indian police used brute force against peaceful protesters in Srinagar, today.
The police resorted to baton charge to disperse a procession led by the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, while it was heading towards the Lal Chowk from Gaw Kadal Bridge. Clashes between police personnel and the protesters were witnessed in Gaw Kadal, Maisuma, Residency Road and other areas. Later, the police personnel barged into the residential houses and beat up the inmates without any provocation.
