Srinagar, December 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested over 100 innocent Kashmiri youth under harsh acts in Srinagar.

The youth who have been booked told the newsmen that the police had arrested them in a vindictive action after the recent successful massive rally led by veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in Srinagar on December 11. The police detained the youth mainly during nocturnal raids from the areas including Khanyar, Nowhatta, Gojwara, Safa Kadal, Kawdara and Bohri Kadal

An arrested youth said that the police was opening cases against the people whose list was prepared during Amaranth land row in 2008.
