Periodical elections in IHK meaningless: Shah

Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah has emphasised that the periodical elections are meaningless for the people of occupied Kashmir as they provide no solution to the Kashmir dispute.

Shabbir Ahmed Shah was addressing a gathering at Nawab Bazaar in Srinagar, today. The APHC leader pointed out that the Hurriyet had no intention to participate in the forthcoming elections for the so-called Kashmir assembly. He appreciated Pakistan’s efforts towards resolving the Kashmir dispute, once and for all. Shabbir Shah maintained that the struggle for right to self-determination would continue despite Indian state terrorism.

Earlier, the APHC leader expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family of a youth martyred by the Indian troops in the area.
