Indian troops involved in Kashmiris’ genocide
Srinagar, May 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, urging India to give up its intransigence, has emphasised that peace and stability in South Asia cannot be ensured without resolving the Kashmir dispute.
The APHC Chairman was addressing a function in Srinagar today. He reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the liberation struggle till it reaches its logical end. The function was also addressed by the APHC leaders, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Bilal Ghani Lone, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Nayeem Ahmed Khan.
On the other hand, addressing a seminar in Srinagar, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani said that Indian troops were continuously engaged in the genocide of Kashmiris and pointed out that holding of so-called elections in the presence of seven hundred thousand troops was a futile exercise.
In New Delhi, APHC leader, Shaikh Abdul Aziz and in Washington the Executive Director of Kashmir Centre, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai in their separate statements appreciated Pakistan Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s latest assertion on Kashmir that it was the core issue between Pakistan and India, which must be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions keeping in view Kashmiris’ aspirations.
