Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), Dr Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has invited the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to attend the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries being held in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, from June 18 to June 20.

A spokesman of the APHC in a statement in Srinagar said that the Hurriyet has received a formal invitation from the Secretary General of the OIC in this connection. He maintained that Kashmir dispute would be on the top of agenda of the three-day meeting, which would be participated by Foreign Ministers and different delegates from all the member countries and Islamic scholars across the globe. The spokesman added that the OIC has always supported a just solution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Meanwhile, the spokesman has strongly condemned the Indian troops for subjecting people to brute force and damaging residential houses with heavy mortar shelling during siege and search operation at Wattergam in Rafiabad terming it the worst kind of state terrorism.
