    Nine Kashmiri detainees shifted to jails outside valley

    Srinagar, January 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have shifted nine illegal detained Kashmiris to different jails outside the Valley.

    Wajahat Irshad, Iqbal Ahmad Makhdoomi, Abdul Hameed Teli, Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai, Qasam Shah Badshah and Muhammad Meekail were shifted from Srinagar Central Jail to Kot Bhalwal Jail while Javed Ahmad Najar, Fakhruzzaman and Saleem Khan were sent to Kathua Jail.

    On the other hand, a delegation of the parents of illegally detained Kashmiris has revealed that the occupation authorities were preparing to shift 40 more detainees to the prisons outside the Valley. The members of the delegation told newsmen that they had recently met their beloved ones in jail and came to know about the plan due to which they were worried about their safety.

    Meanwhile, the spokesman of the forum patronised by the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the shifting of Kashmiri detainees to the prisons outside the Valley.
