Srinagar, May 06 (KMS): The president of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum, Pandit Bhushan Bazaz has held the Indian government responsible for the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from occupied Kashmir.
Bazaz in a statement in Srinagar said, “Whatever happened in the last 60 years, whether it is the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits or killing of one hundred thousand Kashmiri youth, government of India is responsible for that.”
Rejecting the economic and other packages announced by the Indian Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh for the occupied Kashmir, Bazaz said that such packages were meaningless until Kashmir dispute is resolved. He underlined the need to include Kashmiri people in the dialogue process between India and Pakistan to bring about an amicable solution to the dispute.
Bazaz urged India to stop human rights violations being committed by its troops in the occupied territory. He also demanded setting up of an independent committee to investigate the persons buried in the unidentified graves in Uri and other parts of the Valley.
