Srinagar, April 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will head for Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S. early next year for a fellowship program at its Belfer Center of Science and International Affairs.

The APHC Chairman in a media Interview in Srinagar said that this course is a part of continuation of his learning.  “I am about to complete my Ph D on Sufism in Islamic studies. A few months back, I spent four weeks at Cairo University in Eygpt for completing my thesis. So it is a part of the process of learning,” he said.

Mirwaiz said that the course would help and give him a better perspective of global situation and conflict resolution. He maintained that though the course would start this fall but he will begin attending classes early next year after the completion of his Ph D programme.
