Srinagar, May 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has emphasised that Kashmiris from every walk of life have been rendering unprecedented sacrifices to secure their right to self-determination.

APHC spokesman quoting Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that these sacrifices were not given for economic packages and other interests, adding that the pro-India parties were making full use of the Kashmir cause for coming into the power and carrying forward their agenda.

The APHC spokesman maintained that the process of unabated sacrifices was still continuing so that a viable and lasting solution of the Kashmir dispute according to the Kashmiris’ aspirations was brought about. He pointed out that the ongoing liberation movement was going through a critical phase and every step was to be taken with utmost care to foil the conspiracies of anti-movement elements.

The spokesman condemned the attack on the pro-freedom activist Sajad Ahmed Butt and expressed concern over the inaction of police into the matter.
