    Kashmiris asked to beware of anti-movement elements

    Authorities stoking sectarianism in occupied Kashmir

    Srinagar, December 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leaders of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi and Shabbir Ahmed Shah have urged the Kashmiris to remain cautious about the elements who want to sabotage the ongoing liberation movement. The APHC leaders talking to media men in Budgam said that the Kashmiris should frustrate with unity the conspiracies aimed at dividing them on sectarian lines.

    They said that the liberation movement would be taken to its logical conclusion against all odds.

    Later, Indian police stopped the two leaders at Takipora and not allowed them to proceed towards Nasrallahpora area of Budgam, where they were going to take stock of the situation that arose due to a video containing objectionable content.

    The patron of Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, Maulana Abbas Ansari, talking to reporters at his residence in Srinagar said that the puppet administration was stoking sectarianism in the occupied territory.

    Religious scholar, Qazi Yasir, addressing protesters in Islamabad town deplored that the occupation authorities were using repressive measures to suppress the Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

    The Jammu and Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi at a meeting in Srinagar said that Kashmir was not a border dispute but an issue pertaining to the future of millions of Kashmiris and without its settlement durable peace in South Asia was not possible.

    Several Hurriyet leaders visited the residence of a youth, Tariq Ahmed Butt, who was recently killed by some miscreants in Nowhatta area of Srinagar, and participated in his Rasm-e-Chaharam.

    On the other hand, body of a youth was recovered from Pahalmarg area of Handwara.

    The famed Dal Lake in Srinagar was frozen along its banks as night temperatures dipped to sub-zero in the territory.
