Srinagar, March 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani visited Srinagar Central Jail and met with the illegally detained Hurriyet leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai.
Syed Ali Gilani assured the Hurriyet leaders that their sacrifices would not go waste but would bring positives results and the people of Kashmir would succeed in securing their right to self-determination. He said that India was using different tactics to suppress the ongoing liberation movement but it would never succeed in its nefarious designs.
He maintained that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were determined to take the freedom movement to its logical end at all costs and the day was not far away when they would get rid of Indian bondage.
Syed Ali Gilani urged the international human rights organisations to impress upon India to stop state terrorism in the occupied territory and resolve the 63 years old Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader said that for the last several decades Kashmiris had been demanding right to self-determination promised to them by the international community.
Later, talking to media men, Syed Ali Gilani said that Kashmir was the main dispute between Pakistan and India and without its amicable settlement friendly relations between the two nuclear neighbours were impossible. »
