Srinagar, June 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, National Conference (NC) leader, Ali Muhammad Sagar has emphasized that immense sacrifices rendered by Kashmiris will not go waste.
Ali Muhammad Sagar was addressing a public gathering at Chattabal in Srinagar. He said that one lakh Kashmiris had sacrificed their lives for the Kashmir cause and added that the so-called elections would not have any bearing on the status of Kashmir conflict.
The NC leader condemned the use of brute force by Indian police personnel against the employees protesting for their genuine demands. He deplored that the puppet administration had increased the sufferings of Kashmiris by refusing to entertain their demands.
Supporting the strike call given by the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Association against recent price hike, Ali Muhammad Sagar asked the authorities to slash the sales tax and other excise duties to bring down the prices of petroleum products.
