Kashmir is a disputed territory: Gilani

Srinagar, May 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that India was using all the tactics to affect the seriousness and legitimacy of Kashmir dispute.

In a statement in Srinagar, Syed Ali Gilani said that Kashmir is a disputed territory and its disputed nature was even accepted at the international level.

The Hurriyat leader viewed that India was doing everything to deceive the international community about the prevailing situation in the occupied territory and conceal the gross human rights violations committed by its troops there.

Referring to complete shutdown on Saturday, Syed Ali Gilani maintained that the objective of the strike is to convey the message to the entire world that India has no right to occupy Kashmir against the will of the people. He also said that if he gets an invitation from Pakistani government, he may consider it.
