JKLF-R hails Gilani’s statement on Kashmir

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R has hailed the Pakistan Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s avowal that the Kashmir dispute should be settled in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Senior Vice Chairman of JKLF-R, Javed Ahmad Mir, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that the peace and stability in South Asia could not prevail till the longstanding dispute was resolved. He said that India should give up its intransigent stance on Kashmir and should resume the talks with Pakistan for the amicable resolution of the dispute.

The JKLF-R leader appealed to the international human rights organizations to help stop rights violations in the occupied territory.  He also condemned the enforced labour being taken from the people by an Indian army major at Brathkalan in Sopore. »
