Srinagar, May 20 (KMS): The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the international community accepting the centrality of Kashmir dispute has understood the need to resolve it, once and for all.
The APHC Chairman was addressing a Seminar in Srinagar held in connection with the martyrdom anniversaries of leading Hurriyet leaders, Maulvi Mohammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq maintained that the ongoing movement was the movement of people living across the occupied territory, adding that the people have offered huge sacrifices, which would not be allowed to go waste.
Referring to the suggestions as well as proposals put forward for the resolution of Kashmir dispute, the Mirwaiz pointed out that the APHC would study all these proposals and only then would accept or reject them. He said that time has come when a strategy has to be evolved in taking the liberation movement to its logical conclusion, adding that the interests as well as sentiments of Kashmiris would be given prime consideration while traversing on the path of resolving the dispute.
Hailing Pakistan for its flexibility regarding the solution of the Kashmir dispute, Mirwaiz said that it should not be taken as its weakness, adding that Pakistan was a well wisher of Kashmiris and it wanted a solution of the dispute according to Kashmiris aspirations.
