Srinagar, September 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops martyred one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, today.
Troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation at Wuder Bala in Handwara area of the district. Earlier, two Indian army personnel were also injured in the same area in a clash between Mujahideen and Indian troops.
"An unidentified militant has been killed," claimed the Indian Defence spokesman, Lt Colonel J S Brar. He said that two troopers sustained minor injuries during the operation, which was still in progress.
Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen shot injured a civilian, Ghulam Nabi Ganie, 37, in Sopore.
