Indian troops involved in war crimes in IHK: Gilani

Srinagar, May 02 (KMS): Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that Indian troops are perpetrating war crimes on a large scale in occupied Kashmir.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement said, “Troops are involved in extra-judicial executions of innocent Kashmiri youth in stage-managed encounters,” adding, “This has created a tremendous sense of fear and insecurity among the people.”

Kashmiri Hurriyet leader had earlier visited Khawja Bagh and Bagh-e-Islam in Baramulla district, where two youth were killed by the troops. He also visited Sopore, where another youth was killed by the troops. The murder of a youth, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, at Wilgam, Handwara was also a case of custodial killing, said Syed Ali Gilani. He appealed to people to offer Gaibana Jinazah of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir and also protest against the state sponsored terrorism.
