Srinagar, June 16 (KMS): Noted Indian female lawyer and human rights activist, Vrinda Grover has emphasised that it is the Indian army which rules in occupied Kashmir.
Vrinda Grover was addressing a workshop organised by Association of Parents of Disappeared Person (APDP) at Hyderpora in Srinagar. She said that we had to expose the Government of India for projecting rosy picture in the international community regarding Jammu and Kashmir.
India HR activist stressed upon the need for rigorous and credible records of cases against Indian army and other agencies in the courts. ”To build pressure on India in international forums, systematic approach is needed and proper documentation of disappeared persons is a must,” she added.

Terming the RTI Act as a cruel joke with Kashmiris, Vrinda Grover maintained, “In India, people can seek information regarding HR violations under RTI, but for Kashmir no such provision has been kept.”
