Indian army mobilized additional troops in IHK

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): India has deployed more 6000 additional troops and 70 companies of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in occupied Kashmir.

5000 troops with high-tech Israeli equipment have been mobilized in Kupwara district, which will further strengthen the brigades of the 28- division in Tangdhar, Keran, Machil and Gurez areas of the district.  In addition, the army has asked for more units of the Rashtriya Rifles to raise the number of troops in the Kupwara areas to 30,000.

The Indian Border Security Force Director General A.K. Mitra announced on Friday that 1,000 personnel were being rushed to Samba area in Jammu region.

Meanwhile, the government of India has given its consent to the deployment of 70 companies of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in occupied Valley.
