Srinagar, February 07 (KMS): Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that he is alive and the reports about his death are false. Syed Ali Gilani talking to media men from New Delhi said that Indian intelligence agencies were spreading rumours of his death and severe illness.

“It is condemnable that Indian agencies are spreading rumours about my death and are trying to create confusion among the masses,” he said.

“People should not give ear to the rumours and remain united. They should strive peacefully for the righteous cause, ” he added.

Earlier, on Saturday, rumors about the death of Syed Ali Gilani were making rounds in the entire occupied Kashmir. Even people outside the occupied territory called their relatives enquiring about the health of the senior Hurriyet leader.
