Srinagar, July 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, leaders of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference have urged India to give up its traditional intransigence and take concrete steps to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris aspirations.
The leaders, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Nayeem Ahmed Khan were addressing a condolence meeting in Sopore, where the Indian troops had martyred two youth on Wednesday. They maintained that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs had internationalised the Kashmir dispute and said that the time was not far off when the people of Kashmir would achieve their goal of freedom.
The leaders pointed out that the people of occupied territory would never abandon their right to self-determination, come what may. They underlined the need to associate the real representatives of Kashmiris with the dialogue process to make it meaningful and result-oriented.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leader, Javed Ahmed Mir in a statement in Srinagar said that the world powers were paying no attention to settle the conflict over Kashmir. He lamented that the UN had failed to resolve the dispute even after the lapse of 60 years thereby making miserable the life of Kashmiris.
