India can’t suppress liberation movement: Nayeem Khan

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): Leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has said that he held a meeting with the Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi, Shahid Malik, which lasted for two hours.

Nayeem Ahmad Khan in a statement issued in Srinagar said that he apprised the High Commissioner of latest situation of occupied Kashmir.

The Hurriyet leader said that he informed the High Commissioner about the massive human rights violations being committed against innocent people of the occupied territory by Indian troops. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir would continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination,” he said.

He said the Pakistan’s High Commissioner was told that the Hurriyet Conference was playing a vital role in taking the liberation movement to its logical conclusion, adding that no compromise would be made on achieving the inalienable right.

He said that he clarified to the High Commissioner that Pakistan should not leave Kashmiris alone. “The High Commissioner, Shahid Malik assured him that Pakistan will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris”, Nayeem Ahmad Khan added.
