    IHK RTC employees begin strike

    Jammu, February 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the employees of Road Transport Corporation (RTC) on Wednesday began a three-day strike against the anti-people policies of occupation authorities.

    Operation of all the passenger buses and trucks of the public transport came to a halt due to strike in the entire territory.

    The Chairman of transporters union, Shakeel Ahmed Kuchay told reporters that the private transport vehicles would also remain suspended during the strike.

    Led by Shakeel, over 400 employees assembled at the RTC headquarters at Bikram Chowk in the city and took out a protest rally against the authorities.

    Later, they held a sit-in outside the RTC headquarters.
