Srinagar, July 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a case has been registered against Senior Kashmiri leader, Syed Ali Gilani and his three associates in police station Sopore on fake charges of vandalising property during protests in the town.
Inspector General Operations, North Kashmir, Dr B Srinivas in an interview to a Kashmiri daily said that the case was registered on the application of 22 Rashtriya Rifles. Others implicated in the case included Ghulam Hassan Mir of Dooru Sopore, Pir Saifullah and Bashir Ahmad.
Syed Ali Gilani had led a protest demonstration against the killing of two Kashmiri youth by the Indian troops of 22 RR and SOG Sopore in Warpora, on 16th of this month. The troops had also destroyed one house and damaged the other.
