Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): Srinagar-based media organizations and mediapersons are stunned over the death of their colleague and senior photojournalist, Ashok Sodhi.

Ashok Sodhi was killed by Indian troops on Sunday when they attacked a residential house at Kali Mandi in Samba on the pretext that the Mujahideen were hiding in it.

In several condolence meetings held in the occupied territory by journalist fraternity, the speakers described Ashok Sodhi as a photojournalist of high calibre and a great professional who had won pride and honour by demonstrating highest degree of commitment and dedication to journalism for about 26 years of his career. They also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
