IHK High Court quashes detention of a PSA detainee

Srinagar, May 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has quashed the detention of a man, who was arrested by police under the Public Safety Act (PSA) on the charges of hatching conspiracy to kill the puppet Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad. 

Abdul Rashid Prehboo was arrested by the police on April 12, 2007.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate Ramban, Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain after hearing the arguments during the case quashed his detention saying that the order of the detention was not sustainable. The court directed the puppet administration to release the detainee forthwith if not involved in any other case.
