Srinagar, July 19 (KMS): The Kashmir Bar Association (KBA) has welcomed the recent resolution unanimously passed by the European Parliament (EP) in Strasburg about the discovery of unnamed mass graves in occupied Kashmir.
The President of the Association, Nazir Ahmad Ronga said in a statement in Srinagar, “It is a welcome step that the EP has expressed concern over the unidentified graves and proves that it understands the plight of the oppressed people of Kashmir who are under Indian subjugation for the last 61 years.”
Hailing the EP for raising the issue of the disappeared persons of Kashmir in international forums, Nazir Ahmed Ronga maintained that wherever the European Parliament got a chance, it raised the issue of human rights violations in the occupied territory.
