Jammu, August 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, over 7000 Hindu hooligans attacked the Jorian area of Akhnore setting 13 houses belonging to Muslims ablaze.

The Hindu extremists looted the cash and other households before putting the houses on fire. They also demolished the walls of a mosque. Tension has gripped the area after the incident and the Muslims have started migrating to safer places.

On the other hand, Indian police raided the office of a local daily newspaper and subjected the staff to torture for reporting the incident.
