Hindu extremists damage vehicles at Lakhanpur

Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the activists of Hindu extremist organisation, Shiv Sena went on rampage and damaged over 15 vehicles at Lakhanpur.

21-member Balidani Jatha (Suicide Squad) of Shiv Sena along with its 200 supporters kept the vehicular movement on Jammu-Pathankote Highway disrupted for over two hours.

The Additional Superintendent of Police confirmed that the activists of Shiv Sena damaged the vehicles at Lakhanpur when they were stopped from proceeding towards Jammu. However, instead of taking action against the activists, police packed them in a vehicle and dropped them at Madhopur outside the jurisdiction of Lakhanpur. Some of them had even reached Jammu in the evening.

Meanwhile, the members of Balidani Jatha after reaching Jammu gave a 72-hour ultimatum to Jammu and Kashmir Governor, N N Vohra to hand over the land back to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).
