Gilani condemns use of brute force against Kashmiris

Srinagar, June 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani strongly condemned the police action on employees who were protesting peacefully against anti-people policies of the puppet administration.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that employees, traders and transporters were an important part of the society and the ongoing liberation movement, adding they could not be deprived of their rights.

Syed Ali Gilani pointed out that people in every part of the globe enjoy the right to come on streets to press for the restoration of their rights but here in the occupied territory it was considered as punishable act.

Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader maintained that Indian police had let loose terror on common people in the held valley and this had been happening in Jammu and Kashmir for the past 60 years. He deplored that the Indian government was suppressing the genuine voices of Kashmiris by using brute force.

Syed Ali Gilani further said, “Freedom from Indian slavery is the only remedy of this malaise. So every Kashmiri with live conscience should play his role in making the freedom struggle stronger.”
