Election dramas in IHK to hoodwink Int’l community

Indian government responsible for Pandits’ exodus

Srinagar, April 20 (KMS): Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik have emphasised that the periodical elections in occupied Kashmir for the so-called Legislative Assembly and Indian parliament will never provide any solution to the Kashmir dispute.

The two leaders who were among the speakers at a seminar held in Srinagar, today, maintained that India had been staging election dramas to hoodwink the international community and also strengthen its grip over the occupied territory.

They deplored the world powers’ silence over Indian state terrorism and gross human rights violations by the troops. The two leaders vowed to continue the liberation struggle till it reaches its logical end. The seminar was organised by a human rights group, Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society.

Talking to a delegation in New Delhi, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum, Pandit Bhushan Bazaz said that Indian government was responsible for the killing of one hundred thousand innocent Kashmiris during the last nineteen years and the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from occupied Kashmir.
