    Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrated with religious fervour in IHK

    Srinagar, February 5(KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Eid Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated, today, with religious enthusiasm and thousands of devotees participated in night prayers at Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar and other mosques and shires in the territory.

    The day began with special prayers and people were seen thronging the mosques and shrines to offer respects to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

    Thousands of devotees participated in night prayers at Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar, housing the holy relic of the Prophet Muhammad. People on the occasion prayed for the early liberation of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian bondage.

    On the other hand, Indian police stopped the activists of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, led by the party Secretary General, Muhammad Shafi Reshi, when they attempted to take out a Milad procession at Aabi Guzar in Srinagar.
