Jammu, March 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) has expressed grave concern over the deteriorating health condition of illegally detained senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Shah.
The Chairman of the JKPM, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that the occupation authorities had not provided the senior APHC leader with sufficient medical facilities in the jail despite the apprehensions expressed by the Red Cross.
He appealed the international human rights organizations to take cognisance of the worsening conditions of Kashmiri detainees, languishing in different jails inside and outside the occupied territory.
Demanding an immediate release of all the pro-freedom leaders and activists, he urged the world community to impress upon India to release all the Kashmiri detainees. “ India has completely failed to suppress the Kashmiris’ just struggle for their right to self-determination through use of brute force,” he said.
