Pays rich tributes to 2 youth martyred by troops in Badgam

Srinagar, April 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Jan Sangh cadre has declared a war against Muslim community.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the attack on nomad herder family by cow vigilantes in Reasi district of Jammu region. He said that instead of containing these elements, New Delhi was backing them.

The APHC Chairman said that the BJP leader, Ram Madhav, visited Jammu and his recent threat statements signified that all these actions were pre-planned. He said that the puppet administration would be responsible, if these events were not stopped forthwith and attackers arrested or else they would have to face the consequences. »

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred four more Kashmiri youth, today.

Indian troops killed the youth during a violent military operation in Keran area of Kupwara district, this morning.

It is worth mentioning here that Indian forces had killed at least eight youth including two teenage boys and injured around 200 when they opened fire on demonstrators protesting against the holding of sham Indian parliamentary elections in Badgam, Srinagar and Gandarbal districts, yesterday. »

Indian election drama totally failed in IOK

Srinagar, April 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, at least eight youth including two teenage boys were shot dead and around a hundred were injured after Indian forces opened fire on demonstrators protesting against the holding of sham Indian parliamentary elections in Bagdam, Srinagar and Gandarbal districts, today. The poll drama totally flopped with turnout remaining below 6 as official figures stated.

The martyrs were identified as Faizan Ahmad Dar, Jan Muhammad Rathar, Nisar Ahmad, Shabbir Ahmad Butt, Aadil Ahmad Sheikh, Amir Bashir,Umar Farooq and Aqeel Ahmad Wani. These youth were martyred at Charar-e-Sharif, Beerwah, Chadoora and Narbal areas in Badgam district. At least 30 youth were hit by pellets and bullets in Soibugh area of the district alone. Two women were also among the injured. »

4 children injured in teargas shell blast

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a physically challenged youth, who was beaten by Indian forces in October, last year, succumbed to his injuries at Soura in Srinagar.

The injured physically challenged youth, Mushtaq Kundoo, whose poverty-stricken family struggled to meet his medical expenses and their day-to-day necessities, died on Sunday. »

Srinagar, April 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, one Indian Police Constable died while 11 other personnel sustained injuries after unknown attacker hurled a grenade on a group of Indian forces in Nowhatta area of down town Srinagar today, evening.

A police official while confirming to media in Srinagar about the killing of a policeman said, “Constable Shamim was killed in the grenade attack which took place in the down town area of Srinagar.” He added that eleven other CRPF men and policemen were injured in the attack. »

Srinagar, April 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 19 Kashmiris including four young boys during the last month of March.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, the killings rendered two women widowed and two children orphaned.

During the period, 444 people were injured due to the use of brute force and firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells on peaceful protesters by Indian troops and police personnel. 914 persons including Hurriyet leaders Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Umar Aadil Dar and other activists and youth were arrested. »

Hurriyet leaders condemn killings

Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two teenage boys and a youth were martyred and dozens injured after being hit by bullets of Indian troops in Chadoora area of Budgam district, today.

The teenage boys identified as Zahid Rashid, Saqib Ahmad and Ashfaq Ahmad had received the bullets and died on way to hospital. The doctors at the hospital said that the boys were brought dead. »

Srinagar, March 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops during their state terrorism killed two Kashmiri youth at Awantipora in Pulwama district, today.

The youth were killed, today, afternoon near a police check-post at Padgampora in Awantipora.

Police claimed that the youth were mujahideen, who were travelling in a car and were killed in an encounter with the troops.

The two martyred youth were identified as Rayees Ahmad Wani of Bellow Pulwama and Farooq Ahmad Hurrah of Nazneenpora Shopian. »

Justice continues to elude victim families even after 17 years

Srinagar, March 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, justice continues to elude the families of the victims of Chattisinghpora massacre even after the passing of 17 years to the incident.

Thirty-five members of Sikh community were killed in disguise by Indian troops in Chattisinghpora area of Islamabad district on March 20 in 2000 on the eve of the then US President, Bill Clinton’s visit to India.

The Chairman of All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC), Jagmohan Singh Raina in a statement in Srinagar once again urged the puppet administration to nab the culprits of the carnage. He said that it was unfortunate that the puppet regime was silent on an issue which was highlighted world over. “We shall not rest till the real culprits of this massacre are brought to justice,” he said. »

New Delhi, March 14 (KMS): Discrimination against Dalits forced a PhD scholar of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) to commit suicide in New Dehli, last night.

An alumnus of the University of Hyderabad, the 27-year-old Dalit, Jeevanantham, was found hanging from the ceiling at his friend’s residence. Jeevanantham was from Tamil Nadu’s Salem district, and he completed his M.Phil from University of Hyderabad in 2015 before joining JNU. »

Srinagar, March 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a former Sarpanch and National Conference (NC) worker was killed in South Kashmir district of Pulwama.

This is the first political killing after the announcement of by-elections for two Parliamentary constituencies in Kashmir. Some unknown persons kidnapped former Sarpanch Fayaz Ahmad, a resident of Kakapora, from his residence in Pulwama. Later, his bullet riddled body was recovered from village Chewa Kalan in the district. »
