APHC welcomes Pak Prime Minister’s statement

Srinagar, April 28 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference has appreciated Prime Minister, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s assurance of continuing Pakistan’s moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination.

APHC leaders including the Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Bilal Ghani Lone, Shaikh Abdul Aziz, Fazl Haq Qureshi and Nayeem Ahmed Khan addressing a delegate session in Kupwara today, said that India would not succeed in suppressing Kashmiris’ voice through brute force. The leaders condemned the ban on airing Pakistani channels in the occupied territory. They urged the world community to investigate the unnamed graves recently discovered in Uri, Bonyar, Lolab, Rajouri and Poonch areas.

Meanwhile, Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons staged a sit-in at Municipal Park in Srinagar, today. The participants holding banners and placards were demanding the whereabouts of their missing persons. APDP claims that 10,000 persons have been subjected to enforced disappearances by Indian troops during the last two decades in occupied Kashmir.
