Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that people from all shades of life will be taken into confidence while working for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.
The APHC Chairman was addressing a delegate session in Srinagar. Mirwaiz said that the APHC was moving ahead with new sentiment and enthusiasm to bring about a just solution of the dispute. The delegate session was also addressed by APHC leaders Maulana Abbas Ansari, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Nayeem Ahmed Khan
Maulana Abbas Ansari reiterated the pledge to take the ongoing movement to its logical conclusion while taking due care of the sacrifices offered by martyrs for the liberation movement.
Professor Abdul Ghani Butt pointed out that the solution of Kashmir dispute was not possible unless all the three parties to the dispute including India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir have meaningful deliberations on the issue in an amicable atmosphere. He added that resolution of the dispute was imperative for the peace and stability in South Asia.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that the dispute was recognised internationally due to the unprecedented sacrifices of Kashmiris. The APHC leader further said that Kashmiris’ aspirations should be kept in view while finding a solution of the dispute. He appreciated Pakistan’s moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmir cause.
Nayeem Ahmed Khan observed that there had been enough bloodshed in the occupied territory and added that it was high time to resolve the dispute, once and for all.
