Calls for un fact finding mission into mass graves
Srinagar, April 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah has expressed confidence that the new government in Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support of Kashmir dispute.
Shabbir Ahmed Shah said this while addressing an extraordinary meeting of the APHC at Rajbagh in Srinagar on Wednesday, which was attended among others by a large number of the Hurriyet activists from Ganderbal district.
The APHC leader urged India to shun its intransigence and adopt a realistic approach to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations. He maintained that the blood of martyrs would never be allowed to go waste and reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue the liberation struggle till it reaches its logical conclusion.
Shabbir Shah welcomed the Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s statement in which he said that the people of occupied Kashmir would not be left alone in their struggle for freedom.
The Hurriyet leader urged United Nations to initiate an independent probe into the recently discovered unidentified graves in Baramulla district to bring the killers to justice and identify the buried persons. He stressed upon the international community to use its influence over India to stop human rights violations being committed by its troops in the occupied territory.
