Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Ghulam Ahmed Mir terming the recent disclosure of unmarked graves in Baramulla district a very sensitive matter, has stressed for a combined strategy into the issue.

Ghulam Ahmed Mir while talking to mediamen in Srinagar said that these revelations had established the fact that Indian troops were involved in grave war crimes in the occupied territory. He raised apprehensions that thousands of innocent Kashmiris who had been killed by the troops in custody for the last two decades might be buried in these unidentified graves, adding, that these graves were a tip of the iceberg and more such revelations may come to surface in the future.

He added that after the genocide of Bosnian Muslims and then burying them in mass graves, the present genocide of Kashmiri Muslims was 2nd incident of this nature in the contemporary history.

Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that reports of presence of mass graves were also coming from Jammu province and a team of volunteers had been deputed to confirm such reports. He appealed to the international human rights organizations to impress upon the United Nations to initiate an impartial inquiry into the matter.
