Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference held a protest sit-in against the continued human rights violations by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.
The protest was led by APHC leader, Zaffar Akbar Butt at press colony in Srinagar. The protest was staged to express solidarity with the relatives of the persons disappeared during past 19 years in the valley.
Addressing the protesters, Zaffar Akbar Butt demanded immediate release of youth languishing in various jails and trial of those responsible for the enforced disappearances in Kashmir by an International Court.
Hurriyet leader welcomed the resolution unanimously passed by the European Parliament in Strasburg on Thursday on the unnamed mass graves recently discovered in occupied Kashmir. He urged India to accept the EU demand to conduct an impartial inquiry into the graves.
