APHC delegation to visit Pakistan in June

Islamabad, May 27 (KMS): A high level delegation of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference will visit Islamabad in the next month on the invitation of the Government of Pakistan.

The delegation will be led by the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who received the Pakistan government’s formal invitation in Srinagar, today. During the visit, the Hurriyet delegation will hold consultations and meetings with the leadership of Pakistan.

The APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq told KMS that the delegation will arrive in Pakistan on June 21 and will stay till June 25.

Meanwhile, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt while talking to mediamen in Srinagar today condemned Indian President’s gesture of brandishing a gun near the LoC on Saturday adding that Kashmiris could not be intimidated to submission by such dramas. He maintained that the people of Kashmir wanted to see an olive branch in her hand and not the gun.

An Indian trooper today succumbed to the injuries he received during an attack in Posh-Katoo area of Kupwara, yesterday.
