Srinagar, August 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has warned that situation in Jammu may go out of control if measures are not taken to check the activities of Hindu extremists.
Addressing a rally in Dooru Islamabad, the APHC leaders Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Shaikh Abdul Aziz and Nayeem Ahmed Khan said that the puppet administration was acting as a mute spectator and given free hand to Hindu hooligans to conduct attacks on Muslims. They maintained that Indian government was encouraging the Hindu groups of Jammu to divide the people of Kashmir on communal bases. Condemning the attacks on Muslims and their properties in Jammu, the APHC leaders asked the regime to ensure the security of the Muslims.
Meanwhile, expressing concern over the attacks on Muslims in Jammu, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Mushtaq-ul-Islam in a statement in Srinagar said that the activists of Hindu groups like BJP, Shiv-Sena, VHP, RSS and Bajrang Dal were disturbing peace in Jammu. He held Gujarat Chief minister, Narinder Modi, BJP leader L K Advani and Bal Thakery responsible for tensions in the region.
