Islamabad, July 11 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chapter has hailed the resolution unanimously passed by the European Parliament calling upon the Government of India to urgently ensure an independent and impartial investigation into all suspected sites of mass graves in the territory.
The APHC-AJK held a meeting in Islamabad, which was presided over by its convenor, Syed Yousaf Naseem. The speakers on the occasion urged India to accept the EU demand to conduct an impartial inquiry into the unnamed graves recently discovered in the occupied territory. They appealed to the International community to play its role in the resolution of Kashmir dispute for the peace and prosperity in South Asia.
The leaders also lauded the efforts of Kashmir Centre Brussels, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo for effectively projecting the Kashmir cause in the European community. It was also decided in the meeting that the APHC-AJK will held a seminar at its headquarter in Islamabad on July 13, Kashmir Martyrs Day, being observed as Youm-e-Istaqlal.
