APHC-AJK condemns attack on Shabbir Ahmed Shah

Islamabad, July 05 (KMS): The APHC-AJK Chapter has strongly denounced the attack on senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and use of brute force on the people at Hazaratbal and Alamgari Bazaar by Indian troops and police in Srinagar.

The APHC-AJK Convenor, Syed Yousuf Naseem while addressing a press conference termed the incidents as cowardly act and said that such acts would not deter the people of Kashmir to continue their liberation struggle.

Syed Yousuf Naseem further said that a memorandum would be presented to the Secretary General of United Nations Organizations, Bankemon demanding the world body to play its role in helping Kashmiris secure their right to self-determination. The memorandum would also demand the Secretary General to send a special envoy to the occupied territory to take notice of human rights violations by occupation forces.

Professor Muhammad Ashraf Saraf, Mehmood Ahmed Sagar, Mir Tahir Masood, Syed Faiz Naqashbandi, Dr Aala, Shiakh Muhammed Yaqoob, Altaf Hussain Wani, Abdul Majeed Malik, Altaf Ahmed Butt and Abdul Hameed Lone were also present on the occasion.
