Meanwhile, concerned over hundreds of injured people during clashes between police and protesters over the land transfer, the students of the University of Kashmir (KU) donated blood for the wounded protestors admitted in various hospitals. The blood donation camp was organised by Kashmir University Students Union (KUSU) and Kashmir University Research Scholars Association (KURSA) at health centre of the varsity.

The students on the occasion ridiculed the statement of puppet Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad that the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has given up claim on the land. “We will not accept these hollow claims. We want a written revocation order of the land,” they said.
