Srinagar, May 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, five more additional companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been deployed around the civil secretariat in Srinagar.

A spokesman of the CRPF said, “Five additional companies have been deployed around the civil secretariat as a precautionary measure. He further added, “Four companies would be on cordon and one company will be a reserve strike force. We are also deploying armoured cars at different points.”

The spokesman maintained that the companies would be deployed permanently for six-month duration.

It is pertinent to mention that the reinforcement of CRPF has been made despite the statements by pro-India politicians and Indian police officers that situation has returned to normal in the occupied territory.
