Srinagar, July 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, reacting to the revocation order of forestland by the puppet administration, pro-freedom leaders and organizations have termed it as the victory of the people of the territory.
The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said, “The credit goes to people of the occupied territory, who forced the puppet regime to cancel the order,” adding, “Now the writing on the wall is clear for New Delhi. They were flaunting that the sentiment of freedom has ended among the Kashmiris. But now they cannot make such claims.”
The APHC Chairman further said, “Forcing the authorities to revoke the order was our first goal. We assure people that sacrifices of one lakh Kashmiris will bear fruit and Kashmir will achieve freedom from the clutches of Indian occupation.”
Syed Ali Gilani congratulated people on thumping victory. “It is for the first time in past 60 years that India has accepted defeat before the determination of people of Kashmir. It is a good sign for future and it would give impetus to the freedom movement.” However, he added, “Our struggle will not end here, it will only end the day last trooper of India leaves Kashmir.”
