Srinagar, May 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thirty-six people were killed and seven injured when a passenger bus fell into a river in Kishtwar district.

The accident took place when the bus skidded off the road and rolled down into the Chenab River at Kandni-Phagumarh area in the district. The bus was on its way from Kishtwar to Jammu. The injured were shifted to Kishtwar Hospital.

Meanwhile, fifty persons were killed and three hundred fourteen injured in road mishaps in Jammu region during last four months of this year 2008.
