Express solidarity with students in occupied Kashmir
Hyderabad, April 21 (KMS): The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) Students’ Union, based in Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana, took out a protest march in solidarity with the students of occupied Kashmir and in condemnation of the unchecked state terrorism unleashed by Indian forces upon the students and all other people of the territory.
The march started from Students’ Union office and ended at University Main Gate, where President and Secretary of the Union addressed the students.
The President of MANUU Students Union, Tajamul Islam who belongs to occupied Kashmir, said that the silence of the people of India was responsible for the genocide in the occupied territory. He said that the puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, had back-stabbed the Kashmiri people. He also said that turning educational institutions into war-zones and encounter sites was the new low for the face of Indian democracy in occupied Kashmir.
Regarding the recent incident of using a civilian as human shield by Indian Army, he said, using human shields is nothing new in the occupied territory.
Secretary of the Union, Mohammad Ammar Azam, in his address said, state terrorism has forced the people of occupied Kashmir to pelt stones, and nobody pelts stones for fun or without a strong reason or compulsion. He reiterated that the Union stands in Solidarity with the students of occupied Kashmir.
On the other hand, two of the four students of Government Dental College, Srinagar, have gone missing. The students were thrown out of hostel and their allotted room was locked on Wednesday on reports that some students not affiliated with the hostel or dental college were found in their rooms.Follow @kmsnewz
